North Kingstown Chamber of Commerce Hosts Engaging Evening: Fun & Games, Then & Now
NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (Aug. 8, 2025)- The North Kingstown Chamber of Commerce welcomed members and guests to a summer networking event on Aug. 7 at Smith’s Castle, one of Rhode Island’s most treasured historic landmarks. The evening blended local history, great conversation, and community spirit in a charming setting.
Guests mingled on the grounds of the historic estate, while enjoying local food provided by Dave’s Marketplace, courtesy of Michelle Girasole from FreshMaps LLC, who also coordinated event details and ensured a warm, welcoming atmosphere. A highlight of the evening was the raffle, where attendees had a chance to win a gift bag from RI250 and from BankNewport that had thoughtfully selected local items and a gift card.
Smith’s Castle opened its historic grounds to the Chamber, providing an unforgettable backdrop as guests took part in lawn games, sampled local craft brews and explored the historic property. The event fostered meaningful business connections while celebrating North Kingstown’s deep-rooted history.
